Cochin (Kochin) Airport – India
The world is full of things you can and can’t blame on other people. Can I blame Cochin Airport for the family issues that ensued yesterday? No. Can I blame them for the amount I drank in Dubai? Clearly not, but the rest of the story is real, oh so real. This is a very special episode of Blossom.
Can you transit Cochin (Kochin) Airport – India? Is there a transit area at Cochin (Kochin) Airport – India?
I arrived at Cochin (Kochin) Airport – India, somewhat worse for wear after meeting friends in Dubai. I have to give them their credit. There was a guy who greeted me the second I got off the plane, took my passport and said he would “fix” my transit. I was then told to wait by the restrooms. I told said helpful man I needed a cigarette. He laughed and said I might be waiting for 5 hours to get to the transit area. This was going to be interesting. After a mere hour and a cigarette in the toilet, I was put on a buggy and taken through to international departures. Looking around it might not have been that massive, but there looked like there were a lot of things I can do here.

Duty free, tacky tourist shops and 3, yes three places selling sim cards. I tried to buy one, but it could not be activated until the next morning after I had left. Burger King without beef, Curry Tree, Asian Street (noodles), and a place called Chai, selling tea. None of whom accepted non-Indian money, nor could make my credit card work. I eventually worked out that I could use my debit card by which time BK was already closed. I shall never know what a mutton burger tastes like

Review of Cochin (Kochin) Airport – India
Cochin (Kochin) Airport – India is not exactly purgatory, but it is pretty damn close to it. With India charging $60 to transit, any flight layover lasting more than 4 hours, you should avoid India and Cochin (Kochin) Airport like the plague.
Generally speaking, how can two BRICS economies like India and Russia really pretend they want to be flight hubs when they do not allow passengers to transit? Mental.
