The Young Pioneer Magazine is a travel magazine written by, and catering to, expats and travellers of all stripes. We specialise in countries off the beaten path, micronations and larger unrecognised nations, quirks of expat life in the many countries our writers reside, and travel blogging.
If you’re currently in your home country reading this, we can only hope to inspire you to start your own adventure. Take a risk and join us in exploring the planet. Whether Iraq, Turkmenistan, Central America, North Korea, or even Antarctica – the only thing holding you back is you!
The Young Pioneer Magazine is a sister company to Young Pioneer Tours, who specialise in travel to the many of the countries you’ll see in our articles. It is important to note, however, that the opinions espoused on The Young Pioneer Magazine do not necessarily represent those of Young Pioneer Tours, nor are any articles published hereon endorsed or approved by Young Pioneer Tours.
You may be asking yourself why, since we already publish blogs on our sister site, we require this one? The answer is quite straightforward: TYP allows us to indulge our more niche interests, such as bizarre historical anecdotes or non-FIFA football squad profiles. Also, we can be a bit freer in the language we use.
We are not only keen to have you as a reader – if you are a traveller or expat with an interesting story to share, get in touch! We’re more than willing to expand our repertoire of quirky expat/travel stories.
Thanks for reading!
